Hello! Welcome to my website, cassysbooks.com I'm Cassyashton Porter! People often ask me where I get my inspiration for my
books, and I’m here to tell you that it comes from my own experiences and adventures. I have been writing books and poetry from
an early age, and received a poet of merit award from the American Poetry Association. Five of my books are published and some
poetry in anthologies. I am a self-taught ASL signer/singer and had the wonderful opportunity of interpreting the 2002 Olympic
Torch Relay ceremony in Aspen, Colorado. While you’re here I invite you wander through the site and read inside my books, ponder
